Our Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) support the nursing and medical team in delivering patient care. They carry out routine clinical tasks such as taking blood samples, checking blood pressure, performing NHS Health Checks, wound care and ECGs. The HCAs are also trained in INR management and assisting with long-term condition reviews.

Patient Services Advisors
Patient Services Advisors are often the first point of contact for patients. They help with booking appointments, managing enquiries, processing prescription requests, and directing patients to the most appropriate clinician or service. They play a vital role in ensuring the practice runs smoothly and that patients receive timely support and a positive experience.
Our team may ask you for some information, in order to inform the clinical team in relation to your appointment. We ask that you please be patient and respectful with them, especially during busy time, as they are doing their best to help everyone.

Physician Associates
Physician Associates (PAs) are medically trained healthcare professionals who work alongside doctors and other members of the practice team to provide a range of patient care.
They mainly deal with on the day urgent matters so pre-bookable appointments are not always available.
They are trained to diagnose and perform examinations.

Social Prescriber
A social prescriber plays a key role in helping patients connect with non-medical sources of support within their community. These sources may include local groups, charities and other services that can provide practical assistance, emotional support or advice on issues such as finance, housing and employment. A social prescriber works closely with GP's, nurses and other healthcare professinal's to identify patients who may benefit from social prescribing and to provide them with tailored support.
