Surgery Opening Times 

(Between the hours of 8:00-8:30, 12:30-14:00 & 17:30-18:00 a clinical member of staff will be available)

Monday and Wednesday evenings ONLY from 17.30 - 20.00 pm.

Patients can be offered appointments during the hours listed above over at The Glenfield Surgery. The surgery will only be opening to allow these pre-booked patients in, therefore, all usual queries will need to be postponed until the following day.

Protected Learning Time (PLT)

The surgery will close half a day once a month to have time to update staff with the latest training and expand in services. 

The surgery will be CLOSED from 12:30pm- 17:30pm for staff training on the following dates:

• Thursday 18th January 2024
• Thursday 15th February 2024
• Thursday 21st March 2024

Please be aware that we are also closed for bank holidays which includes King Charles III coronation this year. Please see the remaining dates listed below:

• Friday 27th March 2024 – Good Friday
• Monday 1st April - Easter Monday
• Monday May 27th – Spring Bank Holiday
• Monday Aug 26th - Summer Bank Holiday
• Wednesday 25th December – Christmas Day
• Thursday 26th December - Boxing Day
• Wednesday 1st January - New Years Day

When We Are Closed

In the event of an urgent matter when the surgery is closed you should telephone: 111

Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In an emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
