Important News regarding influenza vaccine 2019/20

The over 65 years vaccine will be delivered to us in September in time for our FLUATHON which will be held at Groby Surgery for our registered patients on



8.30 AM - 12.30 PM

No appointment needed - If you are 65 years by the 31.3.20 you are eligible for the FREE vaccination.

**Please note**

The under 65's "At-Risk" vaccine will NOT be available until mid October due to a delay with manufacture and will unfortunately be delivered in stages. Please contact the surgery for further queries with regards to this.


Named Accountable GP: As you may be aware that since April 2015 all Practices are required to provide all their Patients with Named Accountable GP who is responsible for their overall care. Our named accountable GP's are Dr Tanjit Ghag (female) and Dr Karaminder Gajebasia (male). This does not prevent you from seeing any GP in the Practice as you currently do. If you wish to know who your named accountable GP is, please speak with Reception team. Thank you.

Information from the Care Quality Commission

Care Quality Commission (CQC) are the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England.

The CQC make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and encourage them to improve.

They monitor, inspect and regulate services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety and publish what is found, including performance ratings to help people choose care.

Our GP Practice has recently undergone a CQC inspection and the results are now freely available on the CQC Website.  You can access the report below.
